Rain+Shine : Meghan+Jeff

When Meghan Hall and Jeff Bullock booked their May 14 Cedarwood wedding, they envisioned clear blue skies and spring flowers surrounding them as they pledged their love to each other in a garden ceremony. What they got was a mix of sunshine and scattered showers that have always been the hallmark of spring. And a really cool Tennessee Barn Wedding!

Meghan and Jeff’s ’rain option’ was to move their ceremony to the Cedarwood barn, but a little wet weather didn’t dampen their photo ops around the property.  As Justin Wright Photography’s lovely images illustrate, good photography backdrops at Cedarwood are standard come rain or shine.

Rarely is a wedding day a total  ’rain out’ and Megan and Jeff were able to roam the grounds for fun photos. Some of our favorites were taken on the front porch.

Here’s a sequence of photos from Meghan and Jeff’s romantic barn wedding. I don’t think I’ve seen two people happier to be married. Beautiful!

The bedrock of joy in a marriage is accepting the differences that make two people more interesting together. And it can be said that true joy is always rooted in accepting the contrasts of life, be it with a spouse or Mother Nature.

Meghan and Jeff, by this definition, you will live a joyous life together!
