Rika and Josh : Plum in Love

While wondering through our Facebook pages, I stumbled upon a months-old message posted to us by Amy Campbell of Angela Anderson Photography and a link to her wonderful images from the October 23 wedding of Rika Cooley and Joshua Smith.  What a delightful surprise to share with you today!

Rika booked Amy as her photographer after seeing Amy’s stellar shots of Jessica + Dustin’s wedding a year before.  And I can see why, since that wedding received national acclaim in the wedding blog world on Elizabeth Anne Designs (we love this blog!) and is a featured wedding slide show on the Angela Anderson Photography website.

Rika and Josh are pharmacists who wanted to embrace  Cedarwood’s country setting in an outdoor wedding, but wanted their reception to be more classic and elegant. We love the jewel tones of Lapis, Sapphire and Ruby mixed with fall hues.  We love the dreamy romantic shots of Rika and Josh with our farm backgrounds.  We love the plum and champagne tabletops complimented with a little bling to brighten up the reception decor.  We love the reception party dance shots (especially of grandma) and the reminder of how much we love our new roofed dance floor pavilion (no more tented dance floors at Cedarwood)!
