So abundantly full of amazing floral and decor, Kaitlin and Jared Carlson’s wedding kept the Cedarwood design team swooning all day long (we love our work!) The lush, rustic-elegant design was perfect for this relaxed, natural wedding at our historic farm. Rustic and natural in high style! We are especially head over heels for the hydrangea flower, honeysuckle vine and burlap garland by Cedarwood’s master designer Karen Wright. Gracing the back row of ceremony chairs, the garland elevates the setting to a natural wonderland.

Kaitlin ordered custom fan-programs tied with burlap, and we also adore the wedding ring bearer bowl and bouquet charm Kaitlin got from Palamo’s Nest.

Don’t you just love the photo of Kaitlin and Jared and their parents praying together during the ceremony? Kaitlin says family and faith are very important to her and Jared, and this was a way to incorporate their priorities into wedding vows. Kaitlin’s father Greg Carnes led the prayer.

Hi! I live in Houston and am planning my own wedding for next spring and I came across your website when looking for inspiration – your wedding designs are to die for! I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind telling me what type of branches you used at the back of the aisle in Kaitlin & Jared’s wedding. I have been looking for something like them but I have no idea what they are. I would really appreciate it! Thank you!!

Thanks so much Brittany! We used Honeysuckle Vine as the base of the garland, then added fresh greenery and hydrangea, plus burlap. Best of luck on your wedding . We’re glad you read our blog! Linda
