Dove Wedding Photography was the perfect choice for Erin and Scott Weyers‘ May 21 Cedarwood wedding because they have a distinctive romantic style that is always fresh, and always measures up to a lovely bride and groom. Erin and Scott’s love story is also an exciting one. Both medical professionals, they met on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation while doing rotation (Erin for Pharmacy and Scott for Dental) and were separated again to finish their degrees. In May, 2005, Erin joined Scott in Nebraska for their residencies and love bloomed. Settling into careers separated them once again, but brought the realization that they were meant to spend their lives together. Erin says the separation allowed them to grow as individuals which strengthened their relationship. I love her philosophy, “1 whole person + 1 whole person = 1 great couple.” Perfect definition of Erin and Scott!
Erin and Scott love the countryside and wanted the beautiful Tennessee landscapes to inspire their wedding design. Erin also wanted her wedding to be very elegant, and infused with an abundance of fresh flowers in shades of pink, ivory, green and blush using her favorite spring flower – peonies. In fact, Erin’s aunt supplemented our flower order with peonies from her own garden, and the result is stunning, lush floral displays of peonies, David Austin garden roses, hydrangea, ranunculus, snapdragon and Queen Anne’s lace. Paired with champagne linens and the drama of midnight blue bridesmaid’s dresses, blue accent lighting, our hanging vintage chandeliers filled with fresh flowers, tons of candlelight, the result was total romance.
