We are totally smitten by so many aspects of Amber LaFew and Dillon Jennings September 24 Cedarwood wedding. Let’s start with Amber’s Galina wedding gown – a flowing, romantic destination dress. Fresh, natural, un-fussy, with a touch of bling on a beaded bodice – - so striking and sexy on Amber with her lovely flower-laden hair and sandals! …love it so, so much! Bridesmaids’ J.Crew ‘spiced wine’ silk chiffon dresses are the perfect match – and we are crazy about their long stemmed bouquets! Amber asked Karen to design flowers that were very loose and natural, especially for the ceremony altar. It’s one of our favorite looks. Reception tables were decorated with simple fresh flowers in clear canning jars. Sepia printed photos of Amber and Dillon hung in the barn for cocktail hour, complete with classic coke in crates. Old hat boxes, books and cans were vintage accents in reception decor. Organic seasonal touches of berries and twigs were used throughout – a sensational look for late fall, and so well suited to Amber and Dillon’s organic sense of style. Au Natural.
Austin Gros Photography shared these wedding images with us, and we love how relaxed Amber and Dillon look in the romantic outdoor photos. Looking back at the wedding inspiration board Amber made for us, we also think the wedding hit just the right design note! Amber’s mom Donna and Dillon’s mom Peggy were supportive contributors to wedding planning (and so much fun to work with) – we adore the hand made “Enduring Love” bird house Peggy made as a wedding gift. We must commission her to make Cedarwood something as romantically rustic! Their home made jam favors were a personal gift that everyone loved, and they looked amazing on the Pavilion favor table. Take home favors can be a powerful way to personalize wedding style and we love to create a focal display for favors to enhance reception decor.
Amber and Dillon, you and your families are a breath of fresh air. You’re so fortunate to be surrounded by such supportive love. Pure and perfect.
Thanks to Austin Gros for sharing the photos!
