We heart Lauren and JJ – their glamour, their glow, their gorgeous circle of family and friends.  Guests came from both coasts to their  April 23 Cedarwood wedding and it was definitely a high stepping night! Justin Wright Photography has impressed us once again with his stellar shots of this delightful day and get down reception celebration.

When we were planning Lauren and JJ’s wedding with the bride and her mom, Sandy Davies, we KNEW this would be one beautifully unique wedding.  Lauren’s fashion sensibilities plus her love of luxury vintage was the perfect combination for styling a sophisticated vintage-glam wedding.  It is so much fun to toss ideas back and forth with Cedarwood couples and help them create a personal expression of their personalities. In this case, a mix of high fashion and luxury vintage.  We paired pewter linens with ivory lace overlays; stately silver and crystal candelabras with a modern-vintage color pallet of black, gray, silver, lavender and ivory; Lauren’s glamorous Monique Lhillier wedding gown with a bouquet of classic garden roses adorned with heirloom jewlery; and the coup de grace: infusing decor with vintage hats and purses from grandparents’ wardrobes!  Even Lauren and JJ’s Patty Cakes wedding cake (actually three individual cakes) were designed to look like vintage hats!
