Kristen Wiltse and Donald Ouellette definitely live on the sunny side of life. We don’t think we’ve seen a more perfectly paired or ‘in love’ couple. They are childhood sweethearts who followed their hearts to be together, and that journey eventually took them from rural upstate New York to Nashville.
Kristen calls herself the typical “farmer’s daughter” but we see nothing typical about her bright, outgoing personality. Donald is the daring charmer everyone falls in love with (check out the sparkler stuck in his boutonniere 
) and these two have a bond tighter than Gorilla Glue. Both Kristen and Donald grew up on their families’ apple orchards and favors for guests were as personal as it gets: home made applesauce from apples grown on the Ouellette farm. Designs in Paper created the most adorable signs for reception tables describing the significance of apples in Kristen and Donald’s lives. We also love their DIP ’hatch show print’ inspired invitations and guest book poster!
When we met with Kristen and Donald to plan their wedding, their choice of color would define their wedding day decor. As Donald put it: “John Deer Green” and yellow. Pop in a few bright colored flowers, and it just works beautifully with their rustic natural style and sunny personalities! A huge thanks to Kristyn Hogan for sharing her always impressive images with us! Kristyn has a knack for capturing the smallest details and viewing her work is (almost) as good as being a guest at this delightful wedding!
Kristen and Donald, you have something special. Enjoy and cherish every moment of your next fifteen years together (and beyond!) Some of Kristen’s pals who work with her at Country Music Television were on hand to video the day, and we can’t wait to see the results!
