Jessi Heisler and Chris Scott are so totally in tune with each other, they collaborate on everything – especially planning their wedding. We were impressed with Jessi and Chris at our planning session. First, because Chris came alone to handle it and second, because Jessi let him! Chris was their spokesman and did a fantastic job relating Jessi’s vision to the Cedarwood design team. Chris told us he had the most amazing girlfriend (now wife), and we agree wholeheartedly. Jessi and Chris are both considerate, talented, in-love and loved by a large circle of family and friends.
Jessi and Chris also stayed true to their style vision for their celebration: a black and white vintage-inspired affair with green flowers and pops of aqua provided by antique mason jars. To add a black and white vintage vibe, we incorporated Cedarwood’s collection of old cameras as the retro anchor we needed for reception decor. Chris and Jessi invited their guests to wear black and white, and it totally topped off the theme. In addition to their “Red Eye” Photo Booth, one of the most unique wedding activities (and favors for guests) was caricature artist, Tracy Letham, that Jessi and Chris brought to the reception.
Jessi and Chris engaged Harrison Hudson to photograph their wedding, and some of the black and white images are our faves (naturally!) Jessie is not a fan of cake, but she loves ice cream. Maggie Moos dished out custom bowls of creamy flavor from their mobile ice cream bar, and Patty Cakes added the cupcakes. Chris is a musician by trade and Jessi works in the entertainment field, so naturally their reception party was lively! Check out the fun.
Jessi and Chris, you are so good together. Stay madly in love, and stay in touch! We’re honored to be part of your love story. And thanks for sending us a CD of your images by Harrison Hudson Photography.
