Wedding styling is about dozens of small details that combined, create a mood and evoke a feeling for guests. Stephanie and Carter (their wedding feature post coming soon!) wanted to focus on natural environments full of rustic, green beauty when planning their August Cedarwood wedding. Drawn to our historic farm vibe, the Cedarwood design team helped them pull together a style centered around rustic-vintage elements and their chosen color palette, ‘apple’ green and purple.
We began by incorporating things into the decor that would be found on a farm: barn wood, old fencing, rustic tool box, hay bales, crocks and churns, galvanized pails and re-purposed antique brown bottles. Add beautiful purple-hued flowers and ferns, apples in wooden boxes, tree slices and twigs, plus Cedarwood’s natural landscapes and …Voila! We’ve got a chic apple farm setting! Cedarwood photographer Aspen Hall’s detail photos show the layering of color, texture and unexpected items that make Stephanie and Carter’s wedding design delightfully interesting.
