Adrienne and Erik’s October 30 Cedarwood wedding celebrated Hollywood Glam, Halloween and their amazing love with unique style.  Click here for the amazing details in Part 1 of their feature. And for this couple, there is much to celebrate.

Adrienne and Erik have an incredible love story. They met 10 years ago in an electronics class, and it was love at first sight for Erik. After being paired together for an assignment, Adrienne learned that she and Erik shared similar interests, goals and passions. Friendship turned into love but Adrienne kept Erik’s marriage advances at bay, saying ‘after collage’ – which turned into 2 associate degrees, 1 bachelor degree and a master’s degree. Their soul connection became clear when doctors discovered a large mass in Adrienne’s heart and scheduled her for surgery the next morning.  That evening as Erik was at the airport picking up Adrienne’s brother, she went into heart failure and was rushed to the OR for emergency open heart surgery.  As she was dying, Adrienne recalls her regret at not being married to Erik. Because Adrienne was clinically dead for several minutes, doctors told her family and Erik that she might not pull through surgery. But she did, and as she regained consciousness, she heard Erik’s voice by her bedside asking God to take his life and spare hers. That is incredible love.
