Corey and Urias summed up their personal style using two retail icons by saying, “We’re more Ikea than Anthropologie.” We got it: clean modern lines with Corey and Urias’ sophisticated color palette of pewter, silver-gray, black and pearl with pops of saffron.  Modern styling using Calla Lilies in linear clear vases, charcoal crinkle taffeta linens, layers of candlelight and chic paper goods by Designs in Paper set the tone for an evening of celebrating to alternative rock and Brit pop tunes. A Patty Cakes silver trimmed wedding cake added another dimension of fresh, clean lines. And we believe Corey and Urias have started a new cake cutting ceremony trend.  Instead of smearing cake on each other, they turned at the last moment and anointed the best man and maid of honor with cake in the face!  Funny moment.

Of course Corey and Urias loved the natural beauty of Cedarwood, so a wee bit of southern vintage seeps in courtesy of our historic farm, vintage Chevy truck, and their cocktail hour in the barn!  The dreamy-romantic photography of Krystal Mann also lends a vintage-esque vibe.  We love these images!  Enjoy Corey and Urias’ June 11 Modern Southern Cedarwood Wedding!
