Ann and Andrew have an irresistibly romantic story about their engagement. They both knew they wanted to spend their lives together, and Andrew was waiting for just the right moment to pop the question.  As a Black Hawk Pilot serving in Iraq, Andrew took the opportunity to buy Ann a ring while on leave, and  he ask Ann to store it in the safe in her house. Ann was tested on many occasions to peek, and finally couldn’t stand it any more. She sneaked into her closet, opened the safe and slowly started to unwrap the Tiffany’s box like she was diffusing a bomb…memorizing every twist and turn of the ribbon so she could replace it without anyone knowing.  When she slowly opened the box, she didn’t find the ring, but a note saying simply “Gotcha!”.  Two weeks later, the ring was on Ann’s finger and wedding plans underway!

Ann’s color choice for their August 13 wedding was perfect for a summer wedding:  Ivory, Marigold and Fuchsia-Plum, with Navy accents, courtesy of Andrew and his distinguished military comrades serving our country!  The soft romantic styling, beautiful pageantry and majestic Outdoor Cathedral equal one stunning wedding.  Souder Photography captured some amazing images of Ann and Andrew, and we could devote an entire post to their series of  ”first look” images.  Here’s Part 1 of Ann and Andrew’s amazing day.
