We love yellow and are delighted that yellow has woven it’s sunny personality throughout so many Cedarwood weddings. And one of the happiest to date is Kirsten and Tyler‘s June 17 rustic-romantic wedding. Kirsten and Tyler met when she was in kindergarten and he was in first grade. How’s that for young love? Their families were close, providing lots of social time together growing up. After high school, Kirsten moved to Greece for a year and Tyler to Chicago. He visited her abroad and she followed her heart to Chicago. That’s where love bloomed and Tyler and Kirsten ‘knew’ they were more that friends. When Tyler was offered a job in New York, he asked Kirsten to become his wife and start their lives together.
Kirsten and Tyler wanted their Cedarwood wedding to be elegant, but not traditional. Simple, rustic design represented the significant times in their lives and their celebration of love : a heart felt ceremony and laid back reception full of great music, family and good southern food. Yellow wildflowers, bird nests, robin eggs and twigs…swoon. We adore this whimsical wedding and this couple! Enjoy their beautiful wedding day photos by Brandon Chesbro. And be sure to check out their wedding feature on The Lovely Find!
Kirsten and Tyler, you are a blessing and we wish you a boundless, blessed marriage. Thanks Brandon Chesbro for sharing your photos.
