Kristen and Jonathan met last Christmas through Kristen’s brother for one date before she flew back to school in Florida.  That’s all it took for Jonathan to know he had found love.  He called Kristen before her flight took off and didn’t stop until she moved back to her home town of Crossville, Tennessee eight months later.  A proposal soon followed and wedding plans began for an intimate, casual country celebration of love.

Kristen and Jonathan love farms and big red barns, so it’s no surprise that the beauty of our historic farm and countryside drew them to Cedarwood.  We are so glad! Krystal Mann took a series of Cedarwood farm images to set the tone for Kristen and Jonathan’s country wedding.  They remind us how how fresh and green Cedarwood’s rolling meadows are in season, and specifically on this gorgeous May 13 day.

Blue skies dominated the day, but gave way to an evening rain shower at reception time.  Krystal asked Kristen and Jonathan if they would be willing to venture into the rain for a special photo, and we are so proud of them for saying yes.  Follows is the amazing result. We are so in love with this photo! The rain moved out as fast as it arrived and guests bid Kristen and Jonathan a grand sparkler farewell. We’d say this is the best of both worlds!
