Jenny is quite the prize for her new husband Jordan. After becoming college anatomy class partners, Jordan decided he was going to marry Jenny.  It took him a year and a half to convince her to go on a date and another year and a half of wooing her into marriage. But what a glorious October 8 celebration they had!  Mother Nature was totally on-board, complimenting Jenny’s wedding color palette of  yellow and gray with a halo of golden leaves and sunlight.  We don’t think we’ve seen a prettier series of sun-kissed photos  by Justin Wright Photography.

When helping Jenny and Jordan plan and style their wedding, her instruction to the Cedarwood design team was: “somewhere in between casual and elegant.”  The refreshing openness of our historic farm estate makes everyone feel relaxed and right at home, and adding a bit of burlap, rustic and whimsy (we LOVE the “I Spy” game cards) created a fun, casual environment for guests. The elegant part was effortless using Jenny’s selection of sophisticated pewter linens layered with romantic candlelight, pearls, lace and vintage jewels.  We are totally smitten by Jenny’s gorgeous ‘pearl and bow’ wedding cake and Jordan’s groom cake by Crumb de la Crumb!

Jenny and Jordan made the most of the property’s natural decor for their wedding by using the gorgeous, golden maple tree as their ceremony backdrop. Overhanging with black lanterns decorated with yellow flowers and a lush rose petal carpet, the orientation of the altar made the garden terrace setting look totally unique.

What a beauty! Congratulations Jenny and Jordan. It was an honor being part of this amazing wedding. Thanks to Justin Wright Photography for sending over images. We LOVE!
