Rustic wedding styling can take many forms: from modern to whimsical; from vintage to natural. Combinations are unlimited, but rustic design often includes some common mediums: burlap, twine, distressed objects, twigs and wildflowers. At the 2012 Cedarwood Style Show, our design team showed our love for all sides of rustic, including hay bale seating for a ceremony in the farm meadow.
Our favorite style show paper detail from the talented Designs in Paper is the whimsical “Cootie Catcher” wedding program. Cootie Catchers were a form of origami introduced in the 1920′s as game to share questions and answers. Customized for weddings, they also make adorable reception table conversation pieces.
Thanks once again to our fantastic photographers for documenting the 2012 Style Show and sharing these images: Ace Photography, Kristyn Hogan, Dove Wedding Photography and Krista Lee Photography! You guys rock!
More rustic inspiration coming up in Part 2!
