Ashley and Eric found Cedarwood online and created a destination wedding around our historic farm, bringing family and friends from Chicago to Nashville to celebrate their union. We are always thrilled when couples make their venue such an important aspect of their wedding.  Planning a wedding from afar is a cinch with Cedarwood’s all-inclusive event team – a dedicated staff that’s hands on with literally every detail of a wedding and reception.

Ashley and Eric wove their wedding style around Cedarwood’s countryside farm vibe, their love of our vintage red barn, and wine!  Avid wine enthusiasists, Ashely and Eric save wine bottle corks and turned some of them into lovely DIY elements we incorporated into their decor.  Rich flowers in purple, wine and lavender, a champagne bottle ‘guest book’, wine bottle table numbers, and a stylish paper suite by Designs in Paper define this sophisticated take on a wine barn wedding.  As always, Kristyn Hogan is a master artist behind a camera, and we love having her shoot Cedarwood weddings!  Enjoy Ashley and Eric’s celebration through Kristyn Hogan’s amazing photos.

Some favorite memories of the evening: Ashley’s sister’s lovely tribute to the newlyweds with her gift of a Patty Cakes wedding cake, perfectly grilled filet mignon and salmon for dinner by Chef Christopher, amazing live Jazz music with dinner and a rocking dance party with Jace Aaron Entertainment complete with Ashely and Eric singing to their guests. It’s Nashville, after all!
