Ahhh this wedding – vibrant, refreshing and original, just like Jessica and Joe Crosby‘s love for each other. We applaud Jessica for incorporating un-traditional elements into her wedding styling, like red checked napkins and random colored wildflowers. Even more we applaud Jessica and Joe for taking the early rain showers in stride, and proceeding with their first look outdoors. The umbrella photos are some of our favorites of this June 10 wedding, and as ususal, Krystal Mann captured several signature images. We are so happy to share them with you!
Hand lettered signs for table top decor, the Groom’s favorite cookies (homemade by his mother) and hometown beverage favors personalized Jessica and Joe’s wedding. Their favorite lyric, “The Love That Let Us Share Our Name” even decorated their wedding cake! Congratulations Jessica and Joe!Thanks for allowing Cedarwood to be part of your love story. Thanks also to Krystal Mann for sharing Jessica and Joe’s delightful photos!
From Jessica:“Our wedding was really perfect because it felt like we were getting married at home. Not only because we were surrounded by our closest family and friends, but because Cedarwood has such a beautifully charming home atmosphere. We definitely wanted our wedding to feel very casual and laid back, and I think Cedarwood captured that feeling perfectly. It was not hard to make decisions because the existing space was already so beautiful. The flowers, decor, and ambiance were completely us. We also loved bringing in one of our favorite foods for the wedding. It really brought us full circle in our relationship: Copper Kettle from Joe’s Lipscomb days, Cheerwine from Jessica’s time at UT, and Joe’s favorite childhood cookies. Another thing that made our wedding special was the music: our favorite Avett Brothers song lyric on the cake, walking down the aisle to a Johnny Cash song, and our first dance to an Otis Redding song. But most of what made our wedding so special was getting to share it with the people who are the most important in our lives.”
