Amazing job, right? So proud of Erika, Cedarwood’s Creative Director, for designing this day for her friends Marla and Ross, and a shout out to Love is a Big Dealfor the sensational photos.
From the Designer, Erika: “Marla’s wedding wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity and kindness of Historic Cedarwood. I started planning Marla’s wedding prior to being offered the position as Creative Director at Cedarwood. Less than a week before their wedding, their original venue threw them a curve ball and added some large unexpected costs that weren’t discussed originally. Marla was so upset and unsure of what to do; distraught (as any bride would be) that her day was falling apart around her. I mentioned the situation in conversation to Linda, and she insisted that Marla and Ross be married at Cedarwood at no additional cost. When I called Marla to share the wonderful news, she was overwhelmed to the point of tears. It’s special moments like those that make my job worth it. Bringing wedding dreams to life with the help of others who are just as passionate and excited about true love as myself.”
